The purpose of this SOP is to guide Navix customers on how to access and use the Navix Labs Ideas Portal. The Ideas Portal allows customers to submit feature requests, vote on existing ideas, and track the progress of requested enhancements, with a direct line to the Navix Product and Engineering Teams.

What about Hubspot?

Hubspot will remain Navix's Customer Support portal for any common support items or bug reports. Any Suggested Improvements submitted via Hubspot will be closed and referred to Aha so that users can interact directly with Navix's product team.

Self-Registration

  1. Visit the Navix Aha! Ideas Portal at https://navix.ideas.aha.io
  2. You will be able to access the portal and search/browse ideas immediately without logging in
  3. Once you're ready to vote, comment, or add a new idea you will need to provide an email address.
  4. You will receive an email from us asking you to verify your email address and create a password
  5. Now you can use the "My Votes" tab to see ideas you've added or voted for, or the "My Organization" tab to see ideas that anyone at your organization has added or voted for!

Steps to Submit an Idea:

  1. Log in to the Navix Aha! Ideas Portal.
  2. Click "Add a new idea" on the homepage.
  3. Enter the following details:
    • Title: A short, clear summary of your request.
    • Description: Provide details on the issue, your suggested solution, and the impact of the change. We value your time and ANY feedback is appreciated, but more detail and information is always better! Help Navix to deeply understand the problem you’re trying to solve, how it helps you, and how crucial it is to your business. “Nice to Haves” are welcome!
    • Category (Optional): Select the most relevant category for your idea
  4. Click Submit to add your idea to the portal.
  5. You will receive email notifications when your idea is updated or commented on.

Before submitting a new idea, we recommend searching for similar requests:

  1. Use the Search Bar at the top of the Ideas Portal to check for existing requests.
  2. If an idea similar to yours already exists:
    • Click the idea to view its details.
    • Click Vote to support the request.
    • Add a comment if you want to provide additional context.
  3. If no similar idea exists, proceed with submitting a new one.

Tracking the Status of Your Ideas

  • You can track your submitted ideas and votes under "My Ideas" or "My Votes" in the portal.
  • Each idea will have a status indicating its progress:
    • Needs Review – The idea has been submitted and is under initial review.
    • Future Consideration – This is a good idea! We need to get more information from you and other customers to design the solution and determine our prioritization before putting it on the Roadmap.
    • Planned – The idea has been prioritized on the Roadmap. We’re going to do it.
    • In Development – Work has started on the feature.
    • Shipped – The feature has been implemented and released.
    • Will Not Implement- For technical reasons, lack of interest, or for any other reason, Navix has decided we’re not going to pursue this request.
    • Already Exists - A solution to this problem already exists.
  • You will receive automatic email updates when the status of an idea you submitted or voted on changes.

Commenting and Engaging with Ideas

  • You can add comments to your own or other users’ ideas to provide additional details or feedback.
  • The Navix Product Team may ask clarifying questions in the comments section, so be sure to check for updates. You’ll receive an e-mail and you can simply reply to the email without logging in!
  • Please keep comments constructive and relevant.

Best Practices

  • Be Clear and Concise: Provide enough detail so the team understands your request.
  • Search Before Posting: Avoid duplicates by checking for existing ideas before submitting.
  • Engage with Other Users: Vote and comment on existing ideas to help prioritize important requests.
  • Monitor Your Ideas: Stay updated on progress and respond to any follow-up questions from the Navix team.
