🚀Enhancements

Due Date Column - Added to Grid View

  • The Due Date is calculated as the Invoice Received Date + Payment Terms (from the ORDER)
  • Users are able to sort/filter the grid view by Due Date to quickly approve the invoices with the soonest Due Date
  • The Ship Date column has been removed from the Grid View
  • The next phase of the Due Date column addition is intended to give tenants a way to flag Orders as Quick Pay
    • It will allow users to filter to Quick Pay Invoices, and put a visual indicator in the UI to flag Quick Pay Invoices

Auto-Create a generated invoice for EDI ingested charges

  • Navix processes ~ 30,000 EDI invoices per month, which is 10% of our total volume
    • EDI Invoices come over as pure data without an accompanying PDF image
  • A pain point for our tenants was that they were required to manually generate an invoice in our app for certain EDI invoices due to their customers requiring a physical invoice file
  • We will now automatically generate an invoice for EDI invoices that we receive, which eliminates the manual effort that has been required from our tenants up to this point
    • Additionally, this enhancement expands our automation capabilities and creates new opportunities (enabling Disputes workflows for EDI-only users, etc)

🐞Optimizations

App appears to freeze with deleted order UUID

  • When an invoice was being viewed from the order-centric view and the Order is updated, the Order UUID changed. As a result, the URL containing the old Order UUID becomes invalid, and we’re not able to retrieve any order information
    • This caused the app to essentially freeze and had the loading placeholders displayed
  • To avoid running into this issue moving forward, we’ve updated it to use the Invoice to fetch the latest Order UUID it’s related to, which ultimately reflects the most recent Order update

Customer Filter added to Automation Dashboard

  • A new filter option is now available within the Automation Dashboard. Users can now filter by Customer to see which customers have the highest or lowest touchless invoice count or % to identify opportunities to increase their overall automation rate
