Self-Service User Management
Navix now offers self-service User Management, giving Tenant Admins the ability to manage users directly within the application — no support ticket required. This update allows your team to create users, update roles, deactivate access, reset passwords, and view other users within your tenant environment — all in just a few clicks.
Who Can Manage Users?
Users with the Tenant User Admin role can manage users for their specific tenant environment(s).

Create a New User
Tenant User Admins can create new users and assign appropriate roles.
When creating a user, you can configure:
First Name
Last Name
Phone
Time Zone
Role
Associated Tenant(s)
Available Roles
Out-of-the-box roles include:
Assign Ownership
Tenant
Tenant Pre Bill
Additional roles (may be available depending on your configuration):
Flex Rules – Read Only
Tenant Admin
Note: Users can only be assigned to tenant environments that the Tenant User Admin has access to.
Update User Profile Information
Tenant User Admins can edit existing users to update:
First Name
Last Name
Role
Phone
Time Zone
Associated Tenant(s)
Time Zones
All available time zones are listed in the dropdown. For convenience, the most commonly used time zones appear at the top:
EST
CST
MST
PST
UTC
Deactivate a User
If a team member no longer requires access, Tenant User Admins can deactivate their account.
Deactivating a user immediately removes their access to Navix while preserving historical data and activity records.
Reset a User’s Password
Tenant User Admins can reset passwords for users within their tenant by selecting the Reset Password (lock icon) next to the user.
Previously, users could only reset their own password from the main Navix login page. Now, Tenant Admins can initiate password resets directly from User Management.
View Other Users in Your Tenant
Tenant users can now see other human users within their tenant environment.
This improves visibility and team collaboration.
Improved Error Messaging
If you attempt to create a duplicate user or perform an action that is blocked, Navix now displays a clear error message explaining why the action cannot be completed.
This helps prevent confusion and ensures faster resolution.
Why This Matters
Self-Service User Management:
Eliminates the need to submit support tickets for common user updates
Reduces turnaround time
Gives your team full control over user access
Improves visibility into your tenant environment
Our goal is to make managing your Navix environment fast, secure, and entirely in your control.
If you have any questions about roles or permissions, please contact your Navix administrator or reach out to Support.
